Dr. Becky’s guest keynote, titled It's Not Easy Growing a Supermassive Black Hole, explores how supermassive black holes get so big, and challenges common misconceptions surrounding these mysterious objects. Using cutting-edge science to come to a better understanding of the nature of black holes, Dr. Becky will also revisit iconic pop culture references to black holes and wormholes to debunk scientific inaccuracies. We can’t wait.

For everyone joining the live stream, keep an eye out for Twitch Drops and in-game rewards you’re eligible for just by watching. The EVE keynote takes place on Friday, 2 May at 16:00.

On Saturday, 3 May, join us for major highlights you definitely don’t want to miss. Starting at 10:00, watch the stunning Art of EVE presentation hosted by the Art team. At 11:00 it’s all eyes on the EVE Vanguard keynote as the team drops super juicy reveals you’re gonna want to know. This will be followed up by an exciting EVE Expansion keynote at 12:30.

Show up around 21:00 and have a great time socializing with players and devs alike. Pub Crawl tickets include entrance to the sold-out Fleet-Up Party. Getting Around Town

Even though Reykjavik isn’t huge by world standards, getting around can take up precious time you could otherwise spend at a mixer event! Harpa is centrally located right downtown, so you can consider these options if you’d like to get from A to B even faster. And, well, save your energy for better things, like the Party at the Top of the World.

Fanfest Partners

Reykjavik is full of great places to eat and drink, and for Fanfest 2025, only the best will do. We’ve partnered with many fine establishments around the city where capsuleers will be especially welcome during the festival week. Go ahead and enjoy yourself - your EVE Fanfest ticket or badge will get you access to a variety of discounts at any of our partner restaurants and bars.

Make the most out of your stay in Reykjavik and Iceland. Check out Fanfest 2025 discounts at selected hotels, Europcar car rental, the FlyBus, and tour experiences that include FlyOver Iceland, Perlan, the Lava Show out at Grandi and Volcano Express at the K2 floor of Harpa.

Check out the list of Fanfest partners bars, restaurants, hotels and tour operators here.

Fanfest restaurants at Harpa

We’ve teamed up with Hnoss at the ground floor of Harpa, right next to the Trade Hub, for a special EVE Fanfest menu during all three festival days, 11:00-18:00.

La Primavera on Harpa’s fourth floor, host of some legendary Charity Dinners in the past, is open evenings (18:00-21:15) providing a special 3-course Fanfest menu- available when booked directly via email harpa@laprimavera.is
