2D Star Map Playtest

You can test the highly anticipated 2D map on Singularity right now! Join the test before 1 October and help shape the future of navigation in New Eden by putting this eagerly awaited interface to the test.

What to Do

Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the bottom-right corner of the launcher and log in as normal (more detailed instructions are available here). Join the in-game channel “masstesting” and follow the MOTD instructions. Then it’s time to kick the proverbial tires of the star map. See how it feels, whether it’s clear, intuitive, and useful. From region layout to visuals, zoom thresholds, and data scaling, your feedback will guide improvements.

After the test, share your thoughts through this survey, on the forum, or in the dedicated Discord channel. Pilots from all corners of space, and especially Explorers, are encouraged to join the test.

There is no set release date for Tranquility, but we’ll keep you posted on eveonline.com.
