Community Beat for 29 August
Greetings, spacefriends!
Welcome back to the Community Beat, your regular round-up from across New Eden!
Cpt Amarlio - Golem
We'd like to start by showcasing Cpt Amarlio's incredible artwork. This piece features a Golem with the bastion module active.

As he outlined in his reddit post, this piece took him 62 hours to finish! Taking inspiration from the Studio Ghibli cel-shading art style, Cpt Amarlio keeps impressing us with work after work. What's even cooler, is that he is officially licensed by CCP to sell his artworks for you to own & put up on your wall at home! Head over to his etsy page to pick up a piece of your favorite ship <3
Warlock Industries - AO Keepstar in Provi
Next up, we'd like to give a shout-out to Warlock industries, and his entertaining video documenting the AO Keepstar destruction in Providence with witty commentary, and promising to provide "Cinematic battles, semi-reliable reporting, and absolutely unreliable frame rates straight from the front lines!"
1T fight in Old Man Star
Nullsec wasn't the only place with massive action! As has become tradition, Lowsec is quick to prove that it is popping with action, often out-destroying the massive battle reports we see from Nullsec.
A 1 Trillion ISK fight took place in the system of Old Man Star, after a Snuffed Out Titan fell to a dreadbomb. Snuffed Out were quick to respond with their own dreads, and the grid turned to carnage as dreads and subcaps clashed.
The fight was recorded from several perspectives, but we wanted to give a shoutout to Ph33rfactor with his POV from the Fl33T side. Enjoy!
Pando - "Zap & Clap" NPSI Fleet
Then there is Pando's recent NPSI fleet, made up of 12 Stormbringers, 18 Loki's, 10 Eagles, logi & support which we'd like to highlight. There's something about fleetcomps that incorporate a healthy dose of "Zappy Boi's", whilst retaining enough single target dps ships to finish targets, that really butters our sandwich.
In the fight below, they take on Brave Newbies in Ferox Navies.
The comp is reminiscent of the "Tidebringer" comp brought to us by Amelia Duskspace & Goryn Clade a few years ago. For good measure, & if you missed this gold nugget a few years ago, we decided to also include a link to that video, even though it dates back a few years by now. Check it out below!
ATXXI Feeder Tournament
Last but not least, don't forget to tune into the Alliance Tournament XXI Feeder Tournament, which starts this weekend!

Matches start at 15:00 UTC on both Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st, and will be livestreamed on CCPTV. We hope to see you in chat!
That is all for now!
See you next time! o7 <3
